Kenai Parks & Gardens
This refuge was created to help moose, bears, mountain goats, Dall sheep, wolves, salmon, waterfowl and other species. Visitors can enjoy camping, hiking, canoing and fishing during their stay.
This southern Alaska state park is comprised of 400,000 acres (161871 ha) of mountains, glaciers, forests and ocean. The park can be accessed from Homer via air charters, water taxis and boat rentals. There are no roads that travel to the park. The park affords a host of recreational activities, including fishing, boating, kayaking and hiking.
