Formed by the Yukon and Kuskokwim Rivers, the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge is home to many species of wildlife and birds. This park near Seward offers a ranger station with exhibits and interpretive services, and information about the glacier and Harding Icefield. The park can be accessed by road, as can Exit Glacier in the summer. The fjords can be accessed by boat, and the icefield by air or trail.

This preserve is accessible by plane or boat from Eagle or Circle. There are scheduled hikes and programs at the preserve, as well as a visitor center in Eagle. Historic attractions in the park include Coal Creek Dredge and camp, which was a bush gold operation during the gold rush, and cabins used by trappers, miners, and woodcutters.
